Life at New Haven Friends Meeting extends beyond Sunday worship. We gather for business meetings, learn together in study groups, serve on committees, and build community through shared meals and activities. Whether you're drawn to spiritual exploration, hands-on service, or connecting with others, there are many ways to participate in our Meeting's life.

Get Involved Through Committees
Our Meeting has no paid staff—members and attenders volunteer their time, mostly through committees. Serving on a committee is a great way to get to know people and help create a vibrant community.
All committees are open to everyone except Ministry & Counsel. Committee terms run from July 1 to June 30, and most people serve for several years. Each committee has a clerk who organizes and coordinates the work. Most committees meet monthly.
Interested in joining a committee? Speak with any Meeting member after worship to connect you. Check our calendar for meeting times.
